Our consultation rooms are fully accessible for patients with disabilities. If the room assigned is not suitable for your specific needs, we will ensure a different room is provided to accommodate you.

There is a designated parking space available, and the building has wide doors to allow easy access for wheelchairs.

A hearing aid loop is available at the left-hand reception desk. It is portable and can be used in clinical rooms with the doctor or nurse. Please inform the receptionist or clinician when you check in if you would benefit from using this, and we will ensure the necessary arrangements are made.

Our surgery is equipped with a disabled toilet.

If you have any other disabilities that we should be aware of, please inform our staff at the main reception desk or contact us via our website.

Kumar Medical Centre Out-of-Hours and weekend arrangements are with the East Berkshire Primary Care Out-of-Hours (EBPCOOH) service. This service is available on weekdays between 6.30 pm and 8.00 am. At weekends and on public holidays, the service is available 24 hrs a day and can be accessed by contacting NHS 111.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy – if your query is of a non-urgent nature and you can wait until the surgery reopens, we advise you to use our Online Consultation service instead and get a response from the practice within 2 working days.
